Baked cauliflower (en papillote)
So easy, so good, so healthy! And best of all, it prepares itself 🙂
Ingredients for 2 persons
1 medium-small cauliflower
3 cloves of garlic
black pepper
smoked paprika
salt
extra virgin olive oil
Time: 50 minutes
Let’s cook!
Wash the cauliflower, pat dry and place it on sheet of baking paper large enough to wrap it all around.
Drizzle it with olive oil and season it with salt, freshly ground pepper, paprika, and accost it with the garlic. Roll it up tightly and bake in a static oven at 200 degrees, on half high, for 50 minutes. It will be cooked when it is easy to sink the fork in. If it is still not soft, extend the cooking time a little longer.
Once cooked, open the foil and brown for another 5 minutes with the grill. Serve with a drizzle of raw oil.
You can also preparing it with other spices: turmeric, rosemary, chili, etc.
To shorten the cooking time, you can blanch the cauliflower first for 5 to 8 minutes in salted water, dry it well, and then bake it in foil: it will cook this way in 20 to 25 minutes (depending, of course, on the size of the cauliflower).
